About Uttarakhand Open University<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Uttarakhand Open University<\/strong>\u00a0 is a\u00a0State<\/a>\u00a0Open University<\/a>\u00a0located in the city of\u00a0Haldwani<\/a>\u00a0in \u00a0Uttarakhand<\/a>. The university was established by an Act of\u00a0Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly<\/a>\u00a0on 31 October 2005. UOU is recognized by\u00a0Distance Education Bureau<\/a>, University Grants Commission<\/a>\u00a0and listed in\u00a0Association of Indian Universities<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

University offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs. It also offers PhD Degrees but on a full-time basis as directed by UGC.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Study Center of Uttarakhand Open University was started in 2017 in the Government Degree College, Bhatraunjkhan, Almora .at present the courses of Arts Faculty are being conducted, in all the six subjects at graduation and post-graduation level, in addition to this some professional recognition is also available. there are more than 150 students studying in all the six subjects.<\/span><\/p>\n
