The college was established in 2014 to cater the need of higher education to the youth of this ruler area of Uttarakhand in Almora. It is affiliated to SSJ University Almora and is funded and managed by the state government.It provides courses in Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Economics, Sociology and Political Science.
